Now, I'll grant the price is low enough to indicate that quality isn't going to be anything great, but these are really light duty cutters. Both pairs are more suited for flower stems than for branches of actual wood. More for your flower garden than for your yardwork.They do have functional locks that hold them shut for safety and storage, but the metal the products are made out of is very light. Don't get me wrong, it is good metal, just thin. The blades are certainly sharp, there's no problem there. And the springs have good tension to them making them easy to use.If you want to cut sticks and branches look for something else, If you just want something for your flower garden at a nice low price, then you could consider these.I'd give 3.5 stars if I could... But i'll round to 4 with an acknowledgement to the low price.
