This item is one of those things that you didn’t know you really needed and then once you get it you wonder why you didn’t know about it before!?! When I saw the roller I thought it might be a good solution to a specific need I have - mainly, something that I could use to apply Vitamin E oil, without having to get it on my hands. I have a large scar on my knee due to quad tendon surgery and I have been trying to use vitamin E oil to help improve the appearance of the scar. Unfortunately, because I didn’t like applying it with my hands - because a) I wear contacts, and b) smart phone screens - I wasn’t using it as often as I should. This works perfectly as something that can be used to roll on the oil without getting my hands all messy and needing to be washed really good every time I use it. It comes in a two pack, and I use the other one for aloe vera gel (for the same reason). The bottle is a dense (and I will even say attractive) glass. There is a plastic cap that pops into the top of the glass bottle that also contains the roller ball, and then finally a dense plastic screw on cap that secures it. It does not leak at all and is safe to put in your car console, a purse, etc. While I originally had a very specific need, I could also see how this could be used for so many different things where you would like to be able to apply some liquid/semi-liquid product in a controlled manner, without having to use your hands to do so. A simple solution at a very reasonable cost that solves a problem better than I expected it to!

Got this container to put a linament into it for my niece that has MS...for her pain. However, my husband and I have both tried to get the roller ball cap off in order to fill it with no success. Any helpful hints from anyone woukd be appreciated. Live the format, just can't use!

These were exactly what I was looking for. Good for essential oils or any thin lotion. Top screws on keep things secure. Bottles look nice too. Roll on attachment snaps over top of the bottle, and once you snap it down it's not going anywhere. I have to use a small screwdriver and lever around the top to pop it back off. But I don't consider that a bad thing, I haven't had one leak yet so I appreciate the snug fit.
