The suction mechanism can be quite difficult to secure contact with, even if you wet it. It's fine once you can get it to stick.

I couldn't figure out how to attach this to the window at first and then realized that you have to take the whole thing apart, wet the silicone and stick that to the spot on the window of your choice. Then put all the other stuff on it. My birds refuse to sit on it but that's an entirely different issue.

I like that the stick can be removed,without removing the suction and does not interfere with the shade.I hope one day might have it as a T,my birds like to seat next to each other.
