I’m a bit of a megalomaniac when it comes to my art so the smaller paper size is good for me. Over all this is a really cute set, the paper is thick and even my paint markers didn’t bleed through. Would make a nice gift for any creative types.

I enjoy having a little book to work in. They do get gator-mouthed with watercolors but for the price, it was totally worth it.

The paper in these little journals can take a ton of water. I use my kuretake zig clean brush pens in these little books and blend the colors with a lot of runny water. Paper never buckles and dries flat. Paper is good quality 300gsm.Another plus is that one can fill up a page in no time in contrast to the intimidating large journal page. These little books are great for experimenting with your mixed media supplies to build confidence. I've done things on these little pages that I never would have attempted in a large journal. So happy with the results! If I don't like the page I just slap on more water and more paint to cover it up! Great for practice!Lastly, they can be carried along anywhere for quick sketches and urban watercolor practice.Price for a pack of 3 is very good when they are on sale.I bought 3 packs after I discovered the quality and the thrill of discovering what I can do with my water media.Highly recommend to add to your journal or sketchbook stash!
