this product requires a non-standard hole size. 2 1/2" won't work and 2 3/4" is too large. My old 3/8" battery slugs were barely fitting the posts. I had to drill a bit the slugs to accommodate a non-standard post(?). Overall it works fine, but it was an unexpected hassle with the hole size and the slugs.

After installation this switch worked for 2 days. Now it only works in position 2 if you turn and hold the switch hard to the right. And you need to push in continuously also. As soon as you let go the power shuts off

Ordered for my trailer as it sits for extended periods of time without use. It is working without any issues. The snap action between setting is solid and firm. The battery lugs are nice, long enough to add numerous wires if need be. The back of the switch is labeled clearly for easy wiring. No instructions were supplied. It's also IP66 waterproof so installing outside on the tongue of trailer was possible. I did have to use different hardware to mount on metal, as the supplied hardware is for wood. At 300 amps, it exceeds my needs. Satisfied with the product so far.

Not much to it but it does the job real good, switching the dial is a very hard I could see it having problems not quite everyone if you have arthritis and if it was wet.

This is a replacement for an all aluminum battery cut off switch for my truck winch. The water proof rating is why I decided to swap them out. I also like that I can see when it's on or off and not have to guess like my old switch. I'm not sure how the plastic case will hold up over time but it's under the hood so should be fine.
