This feels very sturdy. The joints lock and turn into place so it doesn't feel like it would unscrew itself with use. It's a beautiful piece...I almost don't want to get it dirty. Excellent purchase experience. Excellent price. I am looking forward to long lasting performance.

We used this during our car camping trip and it was a great little tool--much better than the random sticks we usually use to poke our fires. I like that it is collapsible (it unscrews in the middle) and it is also very sturdy. Heck, it's sturdy enough that you could use it for self defense if someone (or something) came at you while you were at your campfire!! I got the stainless steel version and I really like it! I would recommend it!
