I spent a big portion of my early life working at photo labs. We would develop up to 100 rolls of film per day, and just throw out the canisters the film came in. At the time, I never would have dreamed that digital cameras would take over so quickly and film would be completely replaced! There have been so many times in the last few years that I wished I still had a 35mm film canister or two - well now I have 36 of them!
These are the real deal. Solidly made of black plastic that is flexible enough to not be brittle or easy to break. The canisters are the style that Fuji film used to come in - with a lid that fits into the canister and has an indentation on the top. I always liked this style better than the Kodak ones with the grey lids.I am currently using some of my new film canisters to sort various screws and small project parts, organize coins in my car, and store touch-up paint. I don’t know how I lived without them in the 10 years since film disappeared.

We use these for Geocaching, perfect size for a pencil stub, tiny logging roll to sign and a small tradeable with tight fitting lids. Good deal, works out to about 51 cents a piece at time of review.
