Easy to install and works as expected for me. Came with parts to install in several different ways. I was easily able to adapt to my configuration.Mind you, alarm and remote locks do not work when this device is interrupting battery.

I wasn’t absolutely convinced about this working but boy was I surprised. It works great. Now I don’t have to worry about the battery going losing a charge from a small short in the system anymore. I used to get in my car after it setting for a few weeks only to find a dead battery. Took a little while to install but my battery location made it almost impossible to get to.

I recently had my engine rebuilt and somehow, a gremlin has taken up residence in my car. It has been draining all the power from my battery, while it's not running. Since we got this sweet little kill switch, I simply turn it off, using the remote, each time I park the car for a while. An added benefit is that it is a theft deterrent. I will be taking the car to the dealer soon, so they can expel the pesky gremlin, but I may still keep the kill switch. I kinda like having the extra deterrent against and would be car thief.

I bought this because we have an old car that the battery runs down in a day or two if not driven. After trying to read the instructions for some time I tried to install it.After an hour with no success, I asked a relative to look at the instructions. He said I would never get it to work using these instructions and wrote a out different one for me.With the new instructions I was able to install it in about 15 minutes. It works very well and the battery always seems full now and has every time I start the vehicle for over a month now.

Failed design, they certainly never tested this.DONT BUY IF YOU HAVE A C4 CORVETTE. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE, AND NO CONDIFENCE IT CAN HANDLE THE CURRENT DRAW OF A C4. MAJOR REENGINEERING NEEDED TO EVEN ATTEMPT AN INSTALLTION.The entire reason you would choose THIS product instead of one of the MANY kits that cost LESS THAN HALF is because you assume that this kit is engineered for versatile installation various different vehicles that use a SIDE POST BATTERY.Well, nope.1) The screws to insert into the side-post battery terminal are WAY TOO LONG. A side post battery terminal connection has a very shallow depth before it bottoms out. The screw HAS to be short in order to tighten it down, or else the screw will bottom out. I had to use 4 LARGE WASHERS from my own parts bin just to "make this work" simply because they choose a screw length that COULD NOT POSSIBLY WORK. Thus, the first evidence that NO ONE FROM THE SELLER-MANUFACTURER ACTUALLY TRIED TO INSTALL THIS.And NO, I do not recommend stacking 4 large washers in-series with 100A+ of current! That just shows right away how poorly this kit was "designed". They just tossed in some cheap parts and gave no thought or testing at all as to whether something as basic as the battery screws WERE THE PROPER LENGTH.2) No confidence that the relay is "better" (ie higher amp rating) than the cheap kits. THE RELAY LOOKS *IDENTICAL* TO *ALL* OF THE CHEAP KITS WHICH COST LESS-THAN-HALF-AS-MUCH, AND THOSE OTHER KITS ONLY RATE THEIR RELAY FOR 100A (500A startup). So this product's inflated rating for the relay seems highly suspicious in my opinion.3) The ONLY thing that distinguishes this kit from THOSE THAT COST LESS THAN HALF AS MUCH are the two cheap copper jumpers. That's it. Apparently that is what they feel makes it a "side post battery" kit. Complete joke.4) And those cheap copper jumpers certainly are NOT oriented in any way that can possibly allow a LOGICAL, NEAT, PRACTICAL installation of this unit unless you have a LOT OF ROOM in front of your battery, which is NOT THE SITUATION in many cars. Certainly NOT in a corvette, not as this kit is supplied. If they insisted upon using the same cheap relay module as everyone else seems to be using, instead of reengineering the relay to intelligently mount ON A SIDE POST BATTERY...then you would need a LARGE selection of copper brackets, twisted various shapes and sizes, to TRY to make this turkey fly....But turkeys cant fly ("WKRP" TV show reference....!)5) Most laughable is that the red positive lead has NO WAY to be connected to the positive side-post battery terminal. The red ring connector is far to shallow to allow the car's side-mount positive connector to screw into the side-mount battery terminal. So again, THEY NEVER TESTED THIS OUT. Which means you AGAIN have to re-engineer it -- which in this case, means you will have to find another source for the +12V instead of at the Red battery post. Apparently this problem was overlooked because the design WOULD work with a TOP POST BATTERY. Thus, again, more evidence that this is just one of the cheap top-post-battery kits with 2 copper jumpers tossed into the box.ALL OF THE ABOVE DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF BUYING A KIT THAT WAS **SUPPOSED** TO BE DESIGNED FOR A SIDE-POST BATTERY.In summary, the entire kit is just one of the cheap kits that costs less than half, and they threw in 2 copper strips. NOTHING ABOUT THIS KIT IS ENGINEERED FOR A SIDE-POST BATTERY except those hillbilly 2 copper strips.Totally flawed design, defective out of the box. Save your money. Junk.
