But the Install tool is NOT compatible with Gen 2 LT1 5.7 engines (1992-1997).
Tool-grade thrust bearings prevent the washer from grinding to the surface of the crankshaft pulley.

Pretty decent. The roller bearing broke with first use upon installation of the harmonic balancer on 08 suburban.

Great inexpensive tool to re install a harmonic balancer. It's much longer than the bolt for an LS6 (pictured) so I was able to place the balancer on the shaft and then install the tool with extra length to tighten the balancer down. It was a snap to reinstall with this tool. Without it I would still be wondering how to complete the job. Be sure to grease or lubricate the threads where the nut is so you don't damage the threads. I also lightly greased the washers.
