My original rear view mirror keeps falling off, so decided to replace with a mirror dashcam which will include a rear view backup camera. I need one of these rear view mirror mounting bases for the mirror dashcam and these fit the bill. Used a piece of the 3M double sided tape to mount the mirror base, then the mirror dashcam. Worked great!

The truck I bought didn’t have the rear view mirror or the mount on the windshield. This took care of the problem, and I have backups when, and if, i need a new windshield.
