5.This gasket has an adhesive backing, just peel, align, and stick.

7.You can use a bead of silicone to further help with sealing, to prevent water from getting inside the light cover.

One gasket is not enough. There is still a void above the housing. If you use both gaskets it is water tight.

I used both gaskets and the light still leaks in heavy rainfall. Gaskets have glue on them if you remove the cover paper. Unfortunately this creates another problem because now the light cover is glued to the truck and I cannot remove. No instructions provided. Buying these gaskets made the problem go from bad to worse. Would strongly recommend against purchasing.

Like a lot of Dodge Rams, I had a problem with leaking in there back cab through the lights whenever I went through a car wash or there was heavy rain, but this seal fixed the problem !
