Works very well. My apartment used to smell from my garbage even when there was not a lot in it. It no longer smells after using this product. While the garbage itself might smell when you open the can, it completely prevents the room from smelling.

I got these for a Modkat cat little box. They were too big for the cartridge but it was easy to cut them open, empty them slightly and reseal. They ended up working well.

I use these inside the trash can under the liner in the little compartment that is supposed to be there to hold extra bags. These help combat trash can odor and fit right in that compartment. I switch them out every couple of months. The charcoal packets come in a zippered pouch and they are each individually wrapped to help maintain freshness.

I purchased an I Touchless trash pail for my kitchen and found their brand of charcoal filters to be a little pricey. I decided to look for a reasonable alternative so I bought this brand. I couldn't be happier, these filters are a better price and a good fit for my pail. They also keep odors down because of the charcoal. Will definitely buy these again!!
