These are nice gauges to have around. I keep one in the truck and in the shop. They are accurate and seem to hold up well.

I am pleasantly surprised how thick these are. What's ironic is these tools cannot be measured with themselves, because they used some oddball thickness for these. Metric perhaps? Anyway, the wire gauges are somewhere between 14 gauge and 1/8" thick. The sheet metal gauges are somewhere between 18 and 20 gauge. I did go test them on random sheet metal in my shop, and they do measure those accurately. Definite keepers that will make life simpler. Wire is always labelled on the sheath, except perhaps tiny wire, so not sure how much I will need to use those, but they are quality tools.
