Works great for a month!The item worked great initially, easy to use and simple setup. 6 weeks after purchase (Item ineligible for return at this time) the device stopped working.. light no longer turns on and video output is locked to working on one channel.If you need this to work for longer than a month, do not buy.

Used this device to control 2 computers from 1 keyboard, mouse and monitor.Setup was easy, the included cables are of good quality and I had no issues at all.The only downside is that there is apparently a key combination you can use on your keyboard to switch inputs, however I could not get this to work. The manual came in mostly Chinese so I had to use Google Translate to understand what it was saying. Regardless, I just use the physical button on the switch to move back and forth with no issue.

The device works flawlessly. I have 2 small form factor desktops connected to a single keyboard mouse and monitor. One desktop dual boots a Linux and Windows 10. The other desktop is a different Linux. I switch between the desktops with a simple button push. When I reboot the dual boot PC it works perfectly.The device has a third USB and I plugged in my Printer. Haven't tested the printer yet but I expect it to work fine as well.When using the shared printer one Linux system sees the monitor flicker a bit. The solution is to turn off the 3D effects of that system and the flicker stops. When I finish printing and turn the printer off I can reactivate the 3D effects. Minor annoyance.

Does its job perfectly. I used it to share one monitor between 2 laptops as an extension monitor. I had to plug the cable's USB connector on one laptop even though I am not using USB devices like a keyboard or mouse, otherwise the screen was blinking intermittently. Probably the device is powered via USB.Now, after some period of use, I'd prefer the device had 2 separate buttons to switch between computers, that would allow for blind operation. Now, you need to look at the signal lights on the device first to see which computer is currently selected.

Plug and play for novice. Switch between 2 monitors takes a few seconds (lags).Perfect for connecting two computers, one of which is not frequently used.Very good buy for this price.
