HARD SHIFTS & P1811 CODE IS GONE! i was supposed to open the transmission where the pressure control solenoid is, and its a pain to do. Then i saw people use this product and i did a research, luckily it is available around my local transmission store. i though this is just some gimmick, but guess what... it works! my hard shifts are gone! and i drove my van for literally about 2 hours with just stop and go around where i live (yeah its pretty tiring!) and the P1811 never showed up nor the hard shifts. I did not purchase it here on amazon, but im just spreading the news that this works!! i just noticed that my 1-2 is taking a little longer, im guessing the new springs are still getting broken in. While you're at it, if your accumulator pistons and seals are worn out, REPLACE THEM too!

I installed the 1-2 and 2-3 springs from the kit on my 2000 Buick LeSabre after I noticed that the shifts had become slow, rough, and sloppy. I use this vehicle for work and put an average of 2100 km's a month on it both city and highway driving. The vehicle had just over 171,000 km's (106,500 miles) at the time of install. Everything went exactly as it should, no hiccups or what-the-hell-do-I-do-now moments. I pulled the pan, took the transmission actuator out and disassembled, pulled the pistons out, replaced the springs, re-assembled and re-installed. Very noticeable difference, the shifts are now smooth and crisp with no delay or juddering (better than brand new). The transmission seems to hold the gear just slightly longer than before. If you have any vehicle with a 4T65 transmission, I highly recommend this, if for nothing more than preventative maintenance and more enjoyable driving.TO NOTE: I didn't take the negative battery terminal off and during my first initial 15 minute test drive, the shifts were a bit long and hard for about 2 minutes and then the computer seemed to 're-learn' the shift patterns just fine. Have been driving for a week now (about 500 km's), no issues whatsoever and the shifts seem to have smoothed out even more. For those who don't know, you can re-use the original pan gasket as long as it's not leaking (just clean it), and if possible, try to re-fill your transmission with synthetic Dexron IV fluid. I used exactly 7.5 quarts of AC Delco fluid when refilling my transmission.Gas mileage seems to a smidge better, but unsure as to whether that's from the shift kit or the new transmission fluid.UPDATE:I now have 182,500 km's on the vehicle, transmission has been operating perfectly. Overall haven't seen a drop in mileage or any negative effects as of yet. Shifts continue to be smooth and crisp.

I've put several thousand problem-free kilometers on the transmission and it continues to run well with only the 2nd and 3rd replaced. Cured my hard shifting transmission immediately.
