I did install it three years ago and works perfect, very happy with it. But instructions are complicated and took me long time to learn how to use it properly. I'm not an electrician but I was able to figure out everything thanks to internet. Still took me awhile....

This is my only power as I live off grid. Switches from batteries to generator power smoothly and only a slight blink of lights. I have nine 390w panels for 3510w total. The maximum voltage of 450 limits adding more. I have 400 amps of batteries; 8x200amp gel lead acid.

This unit load shares. Stops charging battery to send power to loads. If you have a load on inverter that is more then what’s coming in it will send panel power to load not to the battery. This unit does not like heavy loads as well goes in protection. Will not buy again.Im off grid using 1300 watts total panels with 8 12volt 100ah lithium batteries in series parallel set up. Runs two fridges, Starlink, wifi router, and two water pumps. I’m taking in more power then using till I use A/C then it stop charging and spilts the amps then it stops charging. I get why it does that to be kind on the batteries. The benefits are you can series all panels together.

In SOL or SBU mode solar is priority, when it is available and the batteries are charged sufficiently to meet any load short fall, solar is used. Unfortunately, the 5KW 48V version does not seem to handle the transition between solar and mains well, oscillating between the two and taking to long to bypass mains to the output causing continually glitching that even my LED TV could not handle.I replaced a failed after a year 3KW 24V version of this hybrid inverter with the 5KW 48V version. The 3KW worked well tracking the sun until it went down, switching smoothly between solar and mains power, but this one oscillates - totally unusable!

Unit totally powers down for a few seconds on a regular basis. Not that old. Is there a way to get a new one?

I like the ease of instalation but I am having problems programing it. The instructions are not detailed enough. I will try to get better instructions on the internet.

So far (30 days straight). Works better than I expected, powers my RV with AC, and a second trailer with two fridges and a router.I like it so much I've ordered another one for another small building I want to power.Running 12x445watt bifacial 24v panels in series and it handles it like a champ, well made and works great...I'll check back in a few months.100% full time offgrid.Update: Almost 2 years now running well, no issues. I have two of them running separately and they work great. I especially like that they will run independently. I do recommend a battery monitor for your battery bank as the monitor built in is not as accurate and can be misleading… especially with lead acid…do yourself a favour and go lithium if you want long & consistent power.
