These handles are not stainless steel. They are chrome plated steel. They will work for their intended purpose, and, the price is good, but, they are not stainless steel.

DO NOT BUY. Using flat magnet bar, the coil handle (supposed to be Stainless steel) rolls to magnet, strong attraction. Also plated polished.

Advertised as fitting tightly on 1/2 inch rod and loosely on 7/16 rod. They actually fit loosely on 1/2 inch rod. This works fine for my application, but would be disappointing for someone who expected them to go on 1/2 inch rod tightly. Other than being larger diameter than advertised, they are well made and should last. For me, they would probably be a five star, but giving that rating would be misleading for someone expecting these to be properly sized.
