These were ordered to replace the cheapy looking handle knobs on a small drill press (Airco brand), and to supply missing handles on another drill press (Jobmate). They both fit perfectly and have the threaded M8 brass inserts which is an upgrade to the old knobs. Not certain the new ones are actually Bakelite - could be just a heavier density plastic. But in any case they work fine. And price was right at about 7.50 $ CAD for a pack of 5 handle knobs.

I was very pleased with these ball knobs I have installed them on three levers on my metal lathe. They are strong and tighten up great with the brass insert!
