The filter's plastic top and bottom cap turned green and deteriated after one week in a hot tub. Plastic particles were stuck to the side of the hot tub. Do not use these filters in a hot tub.

Thank god for these filters. Without them I don't think I could afford the Pleatco PWW10s, and the old pool would get pretty dirty. THANKS for making affordable filters that are a great product!

These are horrible. We couldn't figure out why we were suddenly getting a sticky gummy ring around the walls of our hot tub. Turns out the blue plastic was breaking down and when I removed the filter the blue plastic was actually sticky to the touch.It had started to break down after just a couple of days.Made a horrible mess of our tub. The cost savings per unit is appealing but not worth the mess they make.
