I use a number of homebrew environmental controls and shop management systems in my home and shop that require custom gaskets. This material has ideal properties for those gaskets. I found it easy to cut, form, and shape. It holds up against all kinds of different liquids it comes in contact with. It seals well and seems stable through large variations in temperature.The reason I did not give this product 5 stars, is that the actual materials are not disclosed. It looks nitrile base, but I won't trust to guesswork for critical applications. I occasionally have to make custom gaskets for older vehicles that I work on, for which it is hard to find replacement parts. This material would be a good deal for at least some of those, but I have to rely on the more expensive material for everything, since I have no clear indication of the limitations this material has.
