Tight fit, smaller drum area than other brands.____I have a couple of watering installations on my property, and I maintain a very small public garden bed for herbs, all using 1/2" black irrigation tubing with 1/4" micro irrigation lines. Gardens are not static, and it is not unusual to want to expand or water a section differently. Enter this item.____I generally like this style of emitter. They are less prone to falling out, and can tolerate chalky well water without clogging. This particular execution is smaller than all the others I have--the cylinder portion is maybe half as long/tall, and I do not know what that will mean long term, Specifically, will they clog more easily? I am going to use these on the garden that gets public water, because I do not wish to risk my plants dying because the emitters were clogged in my hot Florida climate. Maybe that's overkill, but I don't need more dead plants.___If you have public water, you should be quite happy with these. Just remember to write a note of the GPM flow of these--other brands may use a different color code (red may mean something else). I would bag and clip one to the basket with the GPM written down so you can remember what size these are.___I hope this review helped you.

Solid connectors for my drip irrigation system. I use these on my hanging baskets any have everything set into a timer that pops off for just 2 min in the morning. They work well and I think are a great value for a bulk pack, and bulk is definitely the way to go if you're taking the time to set up a system. It's awesome to have enough of these to add a 2nd to pots that like more water, and basically be able to run waterers wherever you want.

I ordered 1 GPH Pressure Compensating Irrigation Spot Drippers for my vegetable garden. Previously, I used adjustable ones, but I had a hard time controlling the flow because the pressure changed every time I added or removed a line. These new drippers will provide consistent watering. I tested them in a small area and they preform well. I will install all of them after I plant all my plants.

These drippers work well for irrigating a line of trees and shrubs. I use 1/2in tubing from my water source hook up along the line of trees and shrubs I want to water in that zone. I use a 1/4in tube from the 1/2in tube to each plant and attach one of these drippers to the end of each 1/4in tube. This allows me to water a large number of plants at once even with average water pressure. The 2gph rate means I water my plants for a few hours once a week or so. This allows deep infrequent watering with minimal to no runoff waste.

These emitters work just fine with my well running between 30 and 50 psi the output stays constant. I measured them against some 'name-brand' emitters and they output about the same amount of water. I used drip hose last year for my vegetable garden and man, did it waste a lot of water on the areas between the plants and since it was so spread out it didn't penetrate nearly as deeply. Now I just tuck the emitter on a plastic stake right at the base of the plant cover with straw mulch and done.
