Fit my 1987 Troy Bilt Tiller 4 HP Tecumseh perfectly. Exact match to my orginal. Fired first pull. Started second pull. Did have to bend the choke lever slightly which was expected due to air filter configuration. Did have to adjust idle slightly just to smooth out idle. No other adjustments required. Easy replacement. Would have been a great teaching moment for one of my younger grandchildren.

I used this on a 4 HP Tecumseh engine that powered an MTD chipper shredder. Fit exactly, started on first pull, had to do minor adjustment for idle, which is expected to do on any new carb. Would buy again and would recommend that others should also.

I did not like that the fuel inlet of my old carburetor had a 90° elbow while this replacement carburetor had a straight inlet. It was a very tight fit for the fuel line to connect to the new carburetor. First time starting after installation of new carburetor the engine started with a single pull of the starter cord and ran smoothly. A day later it took several pulls to start the engine, but tiller worked fine for the next 2 hours.

Worked without adjustment and price was awesome. So nice to have engine run like new again. Ethanol killed the old one. Buy ethanol free fuel at a mower sales place and run out regular fuel and then run with the ethanol free gas before storage to avoid fuel related issues down the road. It's ok to use regular fuel with this carb. This suggestion is to prevent carb issues that result from storage w/ regular ethanol containing gas that results from long term storage (winter).
