I wanted a simple device dedicated to playing music, since I don't want to share battery life and storage space with a phone, or have to bring it around all the time as a much heavier and more expensive device. This does just that, with no bells and whistles getting in the way, and it looks pretty sleek as well.So, why take two stars off then? Well, the device has a kind of matte, rubbery film finish -- which is nice -- but it will peel off and leave a black stain on your clothing the second it touches any kind of solvent like alcohol. I would actually suggest just removing this finish preemptively and scrubbing it down with an alcohol wipe before using it. It looks virtually the same, but feels and looks a bit more plastic.If they released a version without this easily tarnished finish, or used a more resilient coating, I would rate it a 5/5; it is a good device and perfectly serves its purpose otherwise.

These are decent units. We purchased a large number of them to support exam writing for visually impaired students. They work well, run the same OS as most other low cost brands on here, and include an SD card. The price is decent as well.

Great value for basic listening to music. Videos are limited to right version to play, and I find half of my video could not play even though they are Windows media format. Good to have for simple use so you don't have to use up your phone battery.
