Tried cleaning out my Rogue barbell sheaths, which are secured by two internal snap rings. First attempt was with a cheap, multi-tip kit. Took an hour and couldn’t do the second sheath. Using this piers, the same job took 5min! It may be internal only, but it does its job well!

These external snap ring pliers feel comfortable in the grip and have a good spring mechanism for retraction. The 90-degree tips are solid and hold well on the ring. The soft grip handle is comfortable to use. Good quality and should last a long time.
