Good kit. Have not used the higher-priced "name brand" kit so can't offer a comparison.. But this is accurate and well made. Works as intended.

Works perfectly when using templates, the inlay is super tight in the mortise, I don’t have any store bought templates I make my own so I can’t attest to how that works but I use 1/4 plywood and have had no issues.

I have not used it yet but it is exactly what I wanted to make some inlays. It apears to be well made and it will do the job.
