The light chargers during the day and by night it is very bright for a small lamp. It lights up my walkway very well! I'm happy with how well it works and it's adorable as well.

Updated to 5 stars - I bought 5 of these and took my time setting them up outside, one stopped working after just 3 weeks, but after contacting the seller they provided a full refund even though I was beyond the 30 day return period.I'm very happy with my purchase overall, even the one that's in a partial shade of a tree most of the day, is still as bright as the others that receive full sun.

Super happy with this light post. Easy to put together, looks great, and really adds a charm to my garden. The light is bright enough to add some ambience in the evening. This is obviosuly more for vanity than actually using it for a functioning bright light. It is solar power so the brightness vs the price is appropriate. If you are placing this on a complete flat surface like a patio or concrete, the dirt you fill in the planter will suffice to keep it steady...you can always add rocks at the bottom before you fill it with dirt...I wanted to make it look like i have this directly on top of grass so removed a little sod, just enough to fit the bottom of the planter, removed 2 inches of dirt, then fill it with peas pebbles and leveled it out. I place the planter base right on top and used long plastic garden stakes i found at home depot and drove them in each corner through the pea pebbles and dirt. The holes in the corner are actually made for drainage but i drilled out the holes bigger so my stakes could fit through. You will need to drill some holes at the bottom for drainage if you are staking them down this way. Very important you do this or your plants will drown. It is very level and secure. I filled it with a mixture potting mix and compost and planted some Sun Patiens.

This is a great feature for my yard. It has a large solar area so I catches all it needs to recharge. This is one of the brightest lights in my yard, lights up my entrance way. It is fairly tall, I guess it could be taller, but it still is a great feature. I planted sweet peas in the pots to grow the vines up the pole part, but it died. I also wrapped solar lights around the pole. That being said, I think that this is a great product overall and if I had the space I would have bought more.

I was able to put this together easily. I put it in the front garden, partially buried to ensure stability. Light comes on at dusk and lasts all night - switches off at sunrise. Very happy with the product.

This was absolutely worth the money I paid for it. It was super easy to assemble. It looks stunning out in the garden and it comes with a planter box so you can add flowers to it. Absolutely beautiful.

I bought 2 of these lights about 6 weeks apart. The first one lights all night even after a cloudy day and I was pleased and ordered another one. The new one gets about 30 minutes of lighting after a full day of bright sunlight. There is no consistency on product quality which is disappointing.

Received on July 10th, put into operation about a week later. At first everything was fine; it really did add a nice touch to the back yard. However, on Aug 30th it quit working. It comes with 2 bulbs, so that was the first thing I did, but it still doesn't light. I placed the solar panel in direct sunlight for an entire day. Still nothing. This lamp post wasn't cheap, and I have to say I am very disappointed, certainly should have held up longer than two months. I would not recommend.I would like to edit my review of the Derynome outdoor light and planter. After notifying the company that the light stopped working, they immediately sent a new one. I think that is great service. I would definitely recommend this solar to anyone.I have to edit my review once again. The new light assembly that was sent to me only worked for about a month. I gave up and figured that was that. However now it's spring and I really want the light to work. I purchased a new battery yesterday ($15.95) and replaced the old it still doesn't light. I know it's been almost a year since I or since I originally ordered the first one. However, between the two I only had 7 weeks of light, So no I would not recommend .
