This product broke on the first use of the auger cable on my snowblower.

I can confidently declare this an inferior quality product because I've bought two of them from the same seller with the same results - ferrule breaks after 2-3 uses. Do not buy, find another vendor.The ferrule is the cast metal nub that locks into your handle. The manufacturer needs to control the chemistry of the molten metal to make a reliable ferrule - this one doesn't. The first time it failed I blamed myself for maybe making the adjustment too snug. The second time - sorry, it's the manufacturer. I had to manually hold the cable with one hand to clear my drive, and I'll have to clear the garage again and work in the cold to replace - again.Manufacturers mark up their genuine parts too much, but this manufacturer is what gives quality aftermarket equivalent manufacturers a bad name.
