8TEN Snowblower Skid Shoe
- A properly installed skid shoe on your snow blower will ensure it stays in pristine working condition, preventing damage from dragging it over the ground surface.
- Skids are necessary in order to keep the auger from digging into the ground surface and to keep the back of the auger from scraping and being damaged
- Skid shoes purposely leave behind a small film of snow in order to protect your concrete and snow blower
- Every season your skid shoes should be checked, they should be replaces when the material thickness is less than 1/8” at any point

Fast shipping at an outstandingly good price. They fit like they were designed for the Toro blower AND THEY CAME WITH SS BOLTS :-). This is an old blower and this is the second set of skids I've installed now (first set from a Toro Dealer with OEM parts, not reversible) - and these are reversible. Why didn't (and why doesn't) Toro make them like that? AND TORO'S ARE MORE THAN TWICE THE COST ! Stupid manufacturers don't realize aftermarket suppliers can improve OEM designs and earn the market.

The skid shoes worked well on the snow blower, the mounting holes lined up fine . but the holes on the new shoes were a size smaller, I just used smaller bolts, other wise it worked great, thanks.
