When you are a musician that plays guitar or bass, you’ll probably come across the need to get some pedals at some point. Surely, you could use some 9V batteries to power them, but you’ll see soon enough that it will cost you more than buying an appropriate power supply.This item gets the job done. It is rated at 9V and 850mA, which is more than enough to power most pedals, except maybe for some multi effects unit that would need more juice. The power supply is center negative, which is the standard for guitar pedals. In my use case, I used it to power a cab simulator pedal connected via usb to my computer because I didn’t want to take out the main power supply of my pedalboard just to get some quick update. Also, my band member forgot his power supply on our last practice and we used this one to power his whole pedalboard, which consists of 2 overdrive, a distortion, a tuner and a digital drop tuning pedal. We used it for about 2 consecutive hours without running into any kind of issues or inconsistencies.I would highly recommend this product if you need a power supply for your pedals.

I bought another just before this one which was supposed to work on Boss pedals but didn't. This one worked great, was well made, had a good long cord which a floor pedal should have, and the thin form compared to the bigger bulky ones, as well as the higher 850mAh output rating made it great value.
