It was pretty easy to set up..... but, the video on the manufacturer's website that the directions refer you to was impossible to deal with because it was constantly buffering on every device that I tried it on. What should have been a 30 minute job was much longer because of it. Would have been a 5 star if not for the video issueBut, It looks good on my hot tub for the money spent.

I have a Beachcomber hot tub. They wanted significantly more money for their's. My only issue is there are no instructions in the box. Just a YouTube video. There was also some confusion over which video to follow. Seller has been very helpful and communicated back with every question

The lifter that came with the spa needed to be replaced and the new parts fit exactly with the previous bracket so it was not necessary to use the bracket that came with the new lifter. Because it fit, it was easier to install and required less drilling.

Solid, excellent product and definitely worth the price. Hinge and materials are made of quality material. Opening and closing the hot tub cover is easy. Pay attention to the measuremts in the instructions, especially since the instructions seem to be for an earlier model with a different hinge plate. Think it out before drilling and assembly to make sure you understand the instructions.For the manufacturer: Add Pictures to the instructions of different assembly phases.Otherwise great product.

I have used this now for 2 months. It works excellent and is sturdy, solid and effortless to open the cover.Installation was easy by looking at pictures of the unit installed. The instructions aren't great. But it makes sense when you lay it out and size it up with all the parts.I've had to issues with the mounting hardware on the side of the tub despite concerns of the thin wood surround on my hot tub that this is fixed to. But it's holding up fine with little to no movement.

Well I ordered a new cover lift with the buy again feature on Amazon. It was cover buddy spa cover lift . So I thought buy again meant that I would buy the same exact cover lift !! Not the case . This one is made by the same company but a different design . Guessing because the one I originally purchased was garbage ! It broke off on both sides . With that being said , the new one is built much better ,but why the !?!? Wouldn't they have the holes line up so I didn't have to make new holes in the side of my tub panels !!!!!!! Very unprofessional in my opinion . So if your looking to replace it with the same , no luck ! Very annoying .the instructions in the box aren't even for the new one . It has pictures of the old one I purchased ! WHY !!! It was only 2 years old !
