Simple inexpensive kit to learn how to do the bracing wires for the wings without wrecking and expensive kit. Still looks great after it's finished even though it's a cheapie.

Not too many parts but lining up the wings and 8 struts takes a steady hand. Best to glue the struts to the upper wing first. Then much easier to align the struts to the lower wing. Better to have patience as there is needle and thread work to “weave” the wires through the fuselage and wings. The parts-fit is good with this Acadamy model set. The finished product will look realistic once painted and decaled.

Took time painting, got to putting wings on,nigh on impossible. No proper fitting braces and kept collapsing, weren't rigid enough. Ended up putting foot on it then into bin. Waste of time and money

A very nice kit it builds into a fine looking plane , I've bought it twice and will probably buy it again , I really enjoyed building it .

This kit is very good and not too stressful for a WW1 biplane. I love it.

Have not yet built this model but it looks like it will make into a very good copy in 1/48 of the real plane I have made other academy models and they have made into good replicas of the real planes.

かなり以前に、ホビークラフトカナダ社から発売されたキットと同一と思われます。主翼のリブ表見がオーバーという人もいます。気になる人は、少しリブを削って、アルミテープでリブテープを再現するなどしてはいかがかと考えます。部品数も少ないので、そのまま作れば短時間で完成しますし、手を加える余地もたくさんあり、いろいろな楽しみかたができます。1/32ソッピースキャメルは、ウイングナットウイングスの決定版キットがあることから、このキットは自分の好みで、好きなように気軽につくるのがよいのではないかと考えます

In 1/32nd scale this is the perfect size for a WWI aircraft comes in three grey sprues and thread for the rigging. An excellent beginners aircraft before you tackle the more difficult and expensive ones. Markings are included for two aircraft you just have to choose one. All in all an excellent addition to any collection.
