thought it was a 1/48 scale only it was a 1/72 scale .oh well put it together and it turned out OK

I'm so happy with this kit! It is a little basic, the gun in the rear turret looks really basic, however, once painted the general impression is good. I did have an issue with the machine gun fitting from the underside ( it's broken free and is now rattling around inside) but i can forgive it. It needed a fair bit of sanding along the join of the fuselage, but I can forgive it.When this model is finished, it just looks awesome, and you can forgive anything it put you through when you were building it.Please note that I added the antenna rigging and the flight crew, they do not come with the kit.

This is the Academy kit #1651, which is 1:72 scale. Original catalog entry didn't state/show the scale!
