This alternator was supposed to be a fit for my vehicle, ('09 Cadillac CTS) but wasn't. The electronics themselves might have been compatible, but the bolt guides didn't fit the existing bolts, and it didn't come with any new ones. I'm not sure the bolt holes lined up with the ones on the engine block either, but didn't even try to fit it since I couldn't attach it anyway. So after I pulled the old one out, I had to stop, get a ride to the auto parts store, and pay whatever they wanted for whatever they had so I could get my car running again. Returned.

Installation was not difficult. Took 2.5 hours to install and test. Saved myself hundreds of dollars by doing this replacement. You must have a mechanical knowledge. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.
