Put it on an older SUV that didn’t have a backup camera. The lens works well to give a wide angle view of the rear in well lit conditions but not as effective in the dark. A couple tips would be to clean off the glass prior to clinging on and be patient working the air bubbles out from the centre of the lense - push with the “grain” of the lense.

I put this in the 2002 Tahoe as we are building a new home and have lots of stuff going in and out. With the rear window just about completely blocked, this gives me rear view vision when backing up and driving.

Installed this on the rear window of our Jeep Compass which has limited visibility out the rear windows, this gives a reasonable view to clarify that nothing is behind us or to either side behind us, gives a nice wide view.

The angle of the rear window is a major factor in what you can see. I am not able to see my rear bumper but it works to see behind the Caravan
