Material are cheap broke down on assembly and the bar does not hold as it wobble since there is no locking mechanism

It would be great if the top perch was fastened securely to the tripod but it is very loose and my birds will not stay on it as they don't feel secure or safe on it. I might use the tripod for another use if I can't figure out how to secure the perch so it doesn't move. Only bonus and only reason I can find for the wing nut on the end is that I can secure it inside the cage for them. I'm not sure what other purpose it would serve.
