My son has a dairy allergy so traditional advent calendars aren’t going to work. These are metal toys and each one has been a hit so far! Great quality and a variety of equipment. Highly recommend for ages 4+. They have moveable parts and my son is excited to build the crane!

Who doesn’t enjoy a nice advent calendar? This one is delightful and it is geared toward kids who like construction toys. This one has construction vehicles of every sort, two different maps to drive on and road signs.I only opened one window because I did not want to ruin it for the grandkids. The toy I examined was well made and had moveable parts.This set comes with:-advent calendar with attached road map on cardboard-additional road map on plastic sheet-2 helicopters-11 miscellaneous cones, traffic signs, trees, fire hydrant-aerial work truck-bulldozer-cement mixer truck-crane tower-crane truck-drilling truck-dump truck-excavator-mixer truck-pickup truck-race car-steam/road roller-SUVFrom what I can tell, the vehicles are not true to size so the race car and the dump truck may be the same size but I don’t think that will make any difference at all in the enjoyment the toys deliver. As there is a new vehicle almost every day, more than one child can play with the set. The part on the construction vehicles move which encourages little ones to set up their own construction site and do construction tasks.At a cost of $44.99, this construction toy advent calendar isn’t cheap but I think for 24 days of surprises and toys which can be played with for a long time, it’s worth it.

I received an advent calendar that contains a small vehicle or accessory behind each of the punch out doors. Each vehicle is made of a combination of metal and plastic, the vehicles seem quite well made, and are nicely painted and decorated. There are 16 vehicles if you count the truck trailer, and the remainder are parts of the crane, some road signs, etc, and these accessories are made of plastic. There is a light weight sheet of plastic that is included with the calendar that is decorated with roads and buildings that can be used to drive the vehicles on, but I feel this is of limited value. Overall, this is sure to appeal to children if they enjoy small toy vehicles.

Great substitute when you are looking for an Advent Calendar without chocolate. Ordered this for my 2 yr old grandson and he loved it. I saw pictures of him opening each day to get the new truck. Caution, there are days when there are construction signs not trucks, this he did not like. Definitely work a little extra for this calendar.

What you see in the picture is what you get! My grandson, (who at Age 2) said that "construction is my life", absolutely loved this. Every day he thought he was getting the crane. The second last day he got the crane base. I did not know what it was but he starts screaming and jumping up and down. It's the base for the crane. He knows the names of all the construction vehicles and this was a wonderful way to connect every single day in December. He turned three in December so it was a good size for him. He has a younger brother so he knows those toys have to go away when he isn't playing with them because they are too small for little people. It was my best purchase of the Christmas season.

My 4 year old son literally just asked me if he could go to bed early so he could wake up and open his calendar. I bought this for my son as a novelty as he is really into construction toys. I was actually shocked by the quality of each item. Had a nice weight to each item. Super happy, made his holiday season super memorable.
