I needed some large diameter impact sockets, so I thought it would be great to give this set a try. I am glad that I did. They are very good quality. The black finish is good, but they are oil covered like many others. That is a bit of a hassle. With the oil everywhere, there are no signs of corrosion, and I don’t believe that will be a problem over time. The 12-point sockets and hex bit sockets are both crafted nicely with good edges. They grip nuts and bolts securely and they don’t slip or strip. They have certainly stood up well to some pretty heavy pounding from my pneumatic impact wrench. The blow molded plastic case holds each socket securely in its own spot marked by size, and it makes it very easy to quickly find the size needed when working on the job. The sockets are clearly marked for size too. I definitely recommend this set of large diameter impact sockets.
