It works well to revive my Kanto Sub8 which is connected to the subwoofer output on Kanto Tuk speakers. The sub output on the speakers seems to be weak but with some equalizer adjustments, the amp does a good job powering the subwoofer.

Great small amp for my basement shakers. Wish the power supply was a little stronger. Only issue with this one.

Great Sub AMP, Brought my $1200+ sub back to life. The block amp initially died had it repaired for $175 and still died after 3 months. So I was like no repairs again just external amp it is!. Got recommendation from my friend that this Brand was good so checked out and found this sub amp. My Sub is 600w 300 RMS however this amp pushes it pretty loud enough at half volume and frequency. So I am good with it, no distortions etc. Definitely recommend to bring your sub back to life at an affordable price.

Tiny, but adequate power for smaller subwoofers. I have it running a 4 ohm ported 6.5 inch sub and its more than enough to run it with power to spare. I wouldn't expect it to run a 12 inch sealed sub with any volume, but its plenty for an 8 inch maybe even 10 inch sub.My only gripe is it sometimes has a loud turn on thump once connected to my source, not a biggie, but annoying. The sound quality is really good, it seems to handle deep bass notes down to 30 hz or so without issue, and the sub frequency selector knob and volume knob have a nice detent step to them and seem good quality. There are no fancy lights to tell of distortion or anything like that, just a tiny red led to indicate power, which is just fine at this price point.RCA connectorson the back are basic, but seem to hold on nice and tight as well as the speaker connector which will accept banana plugs or bare wire, and the power cord connector is again basic but stays in place and has quality wire and a flexy type connection. The amp will allow huge amounts of distortion, there are no protection circuits, so take it easy with the volume control and frequency knob unless blowing up a sub seems like a fun thing to do. This amp easily puts out enough volume to shred my 6.5 inch ported sub (rated at 200 watts rms) if I get too happy with the volume control. Anything under 2/3 volume seems distortion free no matter the type of music, but goes for a meltdown past that if the bass notes get deep. This is partially because of the smaller sub, but I definately wouldnt go past 80% volume even with a bigger, more powerful sub. Not really an issue as at 60% volme its loud enough to piss off anybody in the next 100 yards, easy.If you are looking for an inexpensive, solid, well performing mini sub amp for a computer or home theater set up, you can't go wrong here and the other Aiyima products are just as good and some even better, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

I'm using this to drive a subwoofer in passive mode. The amp in the subwoofer failed and this replaces that amp. Very rich bass. Good bargain for the price.

I did built a DIY subwoofer some years ago and decided to make it alive again. I had to choose an amplifier for it. The power rating is for 4 ohm and 48V power supply at 300W max so about 150W rms. With the power supply provided, the power will be in the 100-120 W rms. This amplifier is really good. It sounds good, good damping and the bass are tight and precise. The TPA3255 is one of the best class D chip with no audible noise on the market.

This is a great sounding little amp in the "Flat" mode. The sub-woofer filters work as expected in Sub mode.I wanted to use these as a pair of full range mono-blocks on an HTPC driven system. The signal chain was HTPC-> D2-Mini DAC -> 2 x A3001 -> 2 x Pioneer SP-FS52 speakers. What I did to get this all working was to first set my Windows volume control all the way up.Then I set the volume controls on A3001s to the loudest level I was likely to listen at.Then in routine use I use the Windows volume control to set my actual listening levels. It works pretty well ... but don't be surprised if the A3001 volume controls are set quite low. These little amps have a fair bit more gain than recently released Aiyima products and canbe driven into protection rather easily if run at full volume.

He mejorado muchísimo el sistema y he ganado en detalle, calidad y potencia.

I have an old KEF subwoofer as part of my setup, and sadly the inbuilt plate amp recently failed (a well-known issue with these units). The driver and enclosure are still fine, so I was looking for an external amp to resurrect the sub. I already have an Aiyima T9 Pro driving the system (which is excellent), so picked the A3001 to do the job.Setup was straightforward, wiring the sub's speaker directly in to the 2 speaker cable poles in the rear (I believe the single RCA jack is for a different use as I couldn't get a signal this way).Setting the amp to sub mode just works, adjusting the built-in crossover to tune the sound. My only gripe is that the crossover and volume controls are stepped, but actually I haven't knocked a star off for this as realistically this is only a psychological thing.
