I have a pickup that I drive somewhat sporadically, and I often find the battery dead when I need to drive it. I have several portable jump packs, but they were sometimes a pain to connect using the alligator clips. So I got this cable, and permanently installed it to my battery. How I can just plug in the power connector without worrying about reverse polarity or a bad connection, and I get a quick start every time. The EC5 connector fits most jump packs, but if you happen to have a larger one with a different connector there is sure to be an appropriate cable elsewhere on Amazon.
