We tested this supply with a maximum of four pedals connected at the same time. All four pedals powered up with no problems. We didn't have any problems with heat even after sustained used. We didn't have any issues with cross talks between the connected pedals. There wasn't any issues with unexpected noise coming from the connected amplifier.

I Have a tuner, two pitch shifters, overdrive, distortion, compressor, and a looper hooked up to this thing - it’s SILENT. No hum, no buzz, just perfect. Mind blown. Don’t waste your money on a onespot or voodoo labs - this thing is awesome.

I had been using a simple daisy chain supply, but it introduced noise into some of the pedals from a tape delay, and I was getting close to maxing out amperage. When this Aklot with the isolated outputs went on sale I grabbed one. It is really awesome! It has the wattage and amperage I need in a nice, compact size and doesn't introduce noise through the power supplies. As you can see in the photos I don't have the length of cable that makes a buffer necessary, but it's nice to know I have it if I need it.The overload / short circuit LED indicators are also really nice. I didn't try shorting out a port to make sure they work...I wish the power cable were anything but 5.5 x 2.1, I am worried I'll plug it in to the wrong port. Which would probably not be good.I also wish it had a main power switch, you have to unplug to turn it off.I'll be adding a 5.5 x 2.1 inline power switch to it (ASIN B01K2Q71TY). 2A at 18V is plenty rated enough for this power supply. That will also solve my worry about plugging it in to the wrong port.It would have been nice if they'd included a switch like this in the box.

I don’t think there is much to dislike here.Very much enough outlets to make any formidable pedal board equipped with a couple big units (ie strymon, big Boss). My pedal board needs more than this one, but thats not a mark against this AKLOT one, since I always have two pedal supply bricks attached for my foolishly large board. It gives an awesome buffer, and all the outlets work as they should. The only thing i’d change is to make one of the 300 mA another 500 mA. With all the big powerhouse pedals these days, you might want a 3rd higher drawing slot to run a big reverb, big modulator, and a big delay.

This seems like a very well made power supply. It has a nice heavy weight and strong shell. It works perfectly with all my pedals. I've been using this for a few weeks now and have had no issues. Overall working well, and feels well made.

The AKLOT effect pedal PSU works great. If you only play at home and a daisy chain setup doesn’t get you a bunch of noise, then that is all you need, until you get a pedal that may cause an issue. If you play at different places, and especially if you are a gigging musician, then an isolated PSU like this one is a must because you might not have noise at one location but horrible noise at another location.Build quality is good and properly labeled. I like that it has an 18V plug and different mA ratings for 9V since some pedals require a bit more amperage, but the 18V plug should have been a different color like the 18V input is to avoid accidentally plugging into 18V when you need 9V.

If you have mini pedals, And nothing too power hungry And only have maybe four or five of those mini pedals, It might work greatIt says it has an 18 V output on it. It doesn’t work on anything that’s 18 V that I have on my pedalboard even 15 V. It just keeps shutting off the entire power supply and Ing back on and off. So I had to plug-in three different power supplies for the original power supply some of the pedals that I have which defeats the purpose to me. The buffer is simply a joke. It doesn’t buffer anything doesn’t take any sort of noise electrically and remove it. It makes zero difference plugging into it or not. So once again, another item that I used three times and threw it in the pile of junk that I have in the back

Power bricks can range all over the place, but always seem to have a few questionable design decisions - they're flimsy and possibly underpowered, they might not be truly isolated, or they may have a strange voltage layout (does the iso-brick really need two 18V 250mA outs? And two outputs with variable voltages? Really?). This one's got it all - two 500mA bad boys for your multi effects units, a sensible single 18V output, and a brilliant USB power out. That, with an ingenious inclusion of an optional buffer loop, in the event you're pushing a weak-output vintage-ish Fender through 40 pedals. Really, they though of it all! My only gripe is that I wish the included power cables were 90 degrees on one side. And I am not going to lie, half the time I wish they weren't. Anyway - cheers to a fantastic, surprisingly modern power supply for a considerably discount compared to the big boys!

I am truly surprised at how big of a difference a fully isolated guitar pedal power supply can bring. As someone who often battles with unwanted noise and hum from daisy chained power supplies, this isolated unit has been a relief. It has 10 outputs, and they deliver steady power without the buzz. The buffer pedal is a hidden gem, making a real difference in sound clarity.Setting everything up was straightforward and it fits neatly under my pedalboard without taking up too much space. The LED indicators on each output make it easy to see if everything is working right. The power supply's sturdy build feels durable and portable, making it easy to travel with. It’s great to know that I won’t have to deal with power issues mid-set, and it even handles my more power hungry pedals without breaking a sweat. What I particularly appreciate is how this power supply allows me to mix 9V and 18V pedals in one unit. It makes my setup much more versatile and compact. Now, I can focus on playing and experimenting with effects instead of worrying about how to power everything. It’s been a worthwhile addition to my gear, bringing a new level of professionalism to my pedalboard setup.

Take this for what it's worth as I've only been playing guitar for about a year (after about a 20 year hiatus), but this is a great product. The instructions were clear, markings are obvious for the max output of each connector, and it comes with everything needed including 9 power cords for the pedals. I had it hooked up and ready to go in a few seconds. I don't have multiple pedals to test it with, but the ports all seem to work with the pedal I have.I did not notice any difference in sound on my amp (no feedback, humming, buzzing, etc...). The case is solid metal construction and the LED lights provide easy to see feedback of each port's status. The only thing I would knock on this is that there is no power switch, the only way to turn it off is to unplug it. This is minor however and not enough to deduct part of the rating at this price.

Very good pedal power. Has everything you need for a wide variety of pedals. The power unit is compact so it can be stowed under your pedal board. It has short circuit protection and it has a buffer feature. A buffer ensures that your valuable signal remains as intact as possible. It acts as a kind of amplifier for your guitar signal, preserving high frequencies and signal strength even when passing through long cables and effects pedals, nice to have. It also has isolation feature which helps keep down noise. So, with the isolated clean power, there are no grounding paths between each of the pedals and as a result, it eliminates the ground loops as well as the associated hum. So in other words, less noise in your signal. THe price is reasonable and the is a coupon right now so no reason to hold off.

I am super impressed with this power supply. I have purchased many supposedly isolated power supplies and this is the first one I have found to be actually fully isolated. Super quick, well made.

I know a lot of folks are leery of these budget-priced pedal power supplies, worrying that they’re not isolated, but this one is, indeed. Similar to the Caline and Lekato designs on the market, these use an 18V wall wart and linear voltage regulators to achieve true isolation. This Aklot-branded also has a USB port, which will work for non-pedal devices as well as some of the newer pedals that are showing up that run on lower voltages via USB.What really makes this stand out, though, is that they’ve built a buffer into the design! You can switch it on or off, but if you choose to use it, you can put the power supply at the beginning or end of your signal chain, and literally use it as a buffer pedal. I run a lot of true bypass pedals that necessitate running a buffer pedal at the end of my chain, but using this Aklot power supply as both a buffer and a power source is saving me a bit of room! I don’t know of any other power supplies that also offer this buffer feature, but I think it’s a super smart add-on, and makes me lean toward preferring this power supply over its other budget-priced competitors.
