I could definitely feel a difference in weight, at first it kept slipping down, and I had to tighten the strap a lot to hold it up, but once you get used to it, it feels great. I've taken a few foul balls to it, and so far it's working great.

wayyy too heavy. you cant wear it for any period of time. get the ultra-light type.
