My rifle is exactly 42” so I ordered a 42” case but a 42” rifle sticks out of the case by 1” I’d call it a 41” case I wouldn’t even try to zip the case and it was shipped in a box that was 14-1/2” thick 20-1/2 wide and 3 foot 4 inches long I can almost fit in the box the soft sided gun case could be folded and would fit in a normal briefcase what a waste of cardboard

Expected more from the Allen patriotic gun case however am very disappointed with it. The padding is super cheap and you can feel it, it bends even with the firearm in there and is just junky overall.Would not recommend.
