I bought this as it is not supplied with either generator or solar panels (which is should be supplied with the generator). It charges slow, hard to remove of cigarette plug. I suggest just don't but ALLPOWERS anything.

This item did not have a length in the description or more about this item. It is maybe 36 inches or 3 feet long which serves little purpose for what it's intended. No value either I spent approximately $10 per foot of cord.

It connects my portable solar panel to my storage battery. That is what I wanted. Length is probably longer than I need as in use my two items are close together, but I can see that may not always be so easy as it is now. Actual connectors seem designed to be water resistant but I have not needed or tested that. Connections seem solid, secure, do not slip apart at all. My only disappointment had nothing to do with the product, price, or shipping, but rather with the portable solar panel and battery retailers...that they did not include this with either piece, so I had to figure out what the esoteric connector numbers were and ferret out this connector on the web. Perhaps I have been overly sheltered, but MC-4 and XT60 have just not been part of my daily vocabulary. I will say I very much appreciated the product picture, clearly showing the connectors so I was not just having to trust part numbers that meant nothing to me. Wires and connecting pieces seem substantial enough to provide long time use and price was quite reasonable, especially for a piece, without which, my portable solar panel would have been quite useless.
