I bought one of those cheap Chinese hot staple guns as I was tired of all my expensive machinery with cheap plastic housings cracking and breaking. These things ACTUALLY WORK.

Used this to fix a cracked plastic trim on my truck topper that would have cost$300. Followed the instructions using the wavy staples, worked perfectly. It came with a good quantity and variety of staples for different shape repairs. Works as advertised. Took little practice to get placement just right, and I suggest wiggling the little stubs back and forth to break them off afterwards instead of trying to flush cut with the provided cutters, they break off closer than they can be cut. Overall very satisfied. Make sure you work in a well ventilated area as the melting plastic can give of noxious fumes.

Staples heat up in just a few seconds and press into the plastic quickly. Wires have notches to break off flush with the surface after they've cooled. Some broke off nice and clean, but a few did not. I used a grinder to just touch off any metal that remained sticking up so not a problem.

Only downside is staples aren't grooved and are very hard to cut off. Broke pliers already. Works awesome otherwise
