These caps installed easily and will definitely keep the birds from making a nest in my bumper again. Installation was a breeze and only took a few minutes. Only reason for the 4 stars is the fitment. These are a little over sized. The caps come with some self adhesive rubber cushions to take up the extra space and provide traction. Still just seems to be a little too much extra space. I wrenched it down a bit more and they seem to be holding. I guess time will tell how they hold up.

These RV bumper end caps are a great upgrade to the usual plastic caps. As many, I store our tank sewer dump hoses in the bumper. The plastic ones that come with a trailer are usually worthless. I upgraded to better plastic caps with squeeze grips but they too were still loose. At each stop I would check and push the caps back in. You don’t want to see the sewer hose working its way out of the bumper and dragging on the road.These caps are made of aluminum so they won’t rust, have vent holes, and securely clamp onto the RV bumper with a bolt and nylon lock nut. The door caps swing fully open, have a sturdy hinge, and swing totally out of the way so getting the hoses out is no problem. Each door locks with a carabiner that is connected via a retaining cable to the clamp bolt. Being cabled, the carabiner will not be put on the ground or in your pocket only to be eventually lost.Overall these RV bumper end caps are a much better option. The price is a little more than the plastic caps you find everywhere but you won’t have to replace them. With the plastic ones, when you get to your destination you will eventually find they have dropped out somewhere along the road. These aluminum caps will not work out. They really should be the stock end caps when you purchase an RV.

These look great and were super easy to install. A much better end cap than those cheap plastic ones that fall out. Well worth the money
