I have a 1995 Dodge pick-up. Its air selector knobs (heat, defrost, recirc, upper vents, lower vents) are designed to break (thin plastic sleeve) -- and one did break for the second time since I've owned the truck. Dodge wanted $67 for a special-order replacement. These Amazon knobs were about $12 for 4, as I recall, so $3 for the one replacement I actually used, plus 3 spares to play with and further modify. The knob would have fit and worked as supplied, but at 1.6" diameter, would have protruded from the control panel. Being "handy," I decided to modify it (reduce the diameter to 1.5" and decrease its height, to fit flush in the control panel hole and look more like the original. The Amazon knob has a thicker, sturdier sleeve than the original Dodge knob and I expect it will last longer.

Work great. Are a bit smaller then my original but so worth the less money!

The design of the knob is flawed, as the fine teeth connecting the two components lack durability. Within just a few days of use, the knob started slipping, and now the parts grind against each other with every turn.

En remplacement des touches brisés. La taille ne convient pas, les boutons sont trop petits, et ils ne rentrent pas bien, malgré les adaptateurs.

While reading the description, I noticed an Amazon warning that it was a frequently returned product, as most of the "universal" replacement stove knob choices seem to be. I came up with a backup plan and bought some moldable epoxy putty at the same time as these knobs. None of the adapters fit, so I used the putty to make my own custom inserts that fit my stove. I filled the cavity meant for the insert with the putty, carefully inserted it onto the stove in the position I wanted the finished product to sit. My chosen putty also acts as a glue, so I pulled it off the stove to harden to ensure the knobs are still removable. It's not the most elegant solution in the world, but it'll do until I can replace the stove.

I ordered this when my Pelonis heater off/on knob broke. It was very hard to get on but I finally got it and it does work. That handle is a little larger than the original so the plastic casing broke on the heater.

One of my two silver plastic handles finally broke off my Luxe Neo 120 Bidet. After seeing the $7.99 price for one handle before tax and shipping on the Luxe site, I searched on Amazon for knobs and found these. One adapter size was too small and one too large for my D-shape stem. After wasting time and tiring of drilling to remove material from a too small adapter, I took a too large adapter and placed it over the valve stem. I then took three toothpick pieces to create tension and tightness in the open space. I cut them flush with scissors, added some Elmer's glue to secure them inside the adapter and snapped my new knob down on the adapter. When dry, the knob turned fine and tight so I removed the remaining good silver handle and put in another new white knob to match. My bidet is back in action. For your knob needs these are worth giving a try even if you have to tinker a bit. If you need to fill in adapter space get some toothpicks and glue.
