I appreciate that my white-grey siderite specimen looks very much like the image online. I received a specimen that weighs 7 oz, which falls within the 7 -10.5 oz range ordered. It arrived well cushioned, and it can be fragile. It measures approximately 2.75" x 2.5" x 1". I think it is a neat stone with an irregular, corrugated lighter top and a darker bottom.I was most fascinated by the shimmering quality of the bottom, which appears to exhibit some smaller clear crystal chunks woven into the grey base. These clear parts of the stone reflect the light beautifully yet are difficult to capture through a photo.I am familiar with many stones, but siderite was new to me. I enjoy learning more about unique and interesting specimens. This comes with a small plastic rack. I believe this specimen would look attractive on a coffee table, shelf, or piano, in addition to being a good learning experience for those interested in geology.

I thought this was a great specimen and a large piece. Perfect for displaying. Beautiful, worth it.
