This technically fits the hole left by the OEM but there were a couple issues.1) It isn't as curved as the OEM and looks like it might leak if driven in the rain (I typically don't drive in the rain so I don't think it will be an issue for me)2) The connector did not fit the harness so I needed to cut the connector off the OEM light and cut the connector on the replacement and used a heated solder connector to put the old connector on the new light3) The bolt posts threads didn't seem to be long enough to compress the gasket even when fully tightened (see point 1)All in all, it looks much better than the busted up 20 year old OEM one that I replaced but it wasn't really a perfect match. If it lasts a few years I might but another one and repeat the process or I might just buy an OEM or higher quality to see if the additional cost is worth it. We'll see.

Fits just as advertised but takes a bit of fanagiling to get it in place. Need to remove both access panels to get the old light out and the new one in and screw the nuts on and plug it in. I'm not a hands on mechanic but this was easy.

Excellent condition! New, for an amateur that has no clue how to install this light will not know how to do this. There is no instructions included. I have a BMW Z4 and my roommate had to help me put it in. We had to fiddle to get the old one out. The original cork spiral screws and nuts will be an integral part of installing this piece and to handle them wisely without dropping them off course! My replacement in a shop is costing around $1,200 so this can save you a bundle.
