i really like this style of solar lighting. there bright, well built, and actually last all night (12+hours), did i mention they look great. changing modes or the battery is easily done after installation. if you're shopping around for fence or deck lighting, you won't regret buying these.

These APONUO solar post lights were ordered on 6 Mar 2025 and delivered on 8 Mar 2025 with no damage.These are good straight forward solar lights. They are one mode lights,warm white. There is no on-off switch, they come on at dark run all night and turn off at dawn. I like that the LEDs face down and not out, with no danger of shining in your eyes. The solar panel is large enough that it charges the battery even on overcast, rainy days. Pull the battery tab screw to post and enjoy.Good lights,I recommend them.

These are nice solar lights that take a charge remarkably well and light up reliably at dusk. They're not super bright so you really do need a lot of them. Fortunately they come in a 12-pack, so that renders them pretty effective. Still, they're more for show than for the function of lighting your way. They're also surprisingly lightweight, which was a bit of a surprise at this price point. I would have expected something a little sturdier. They definitely need to be fastened down securely, because I think a stiff wind would blow them off the fence post. I'm also worried about how this very lightweight plastic is going to stand up to the alternating heat and cold of New England.Bottom line: quite nice for decorative purposes, probably not the best choice for safety lighting, and questions about how durable they are and how long they'll actually last.

Many of my previous solar "lantern" style post lights did not survive the winter so it was time to look for a replacement. Although these lights are smaller and minimal, they offer good illumination and longevity through the night. Unfortunately, since deploying, it has rained everyday so I doubt the unit has been fully charged. Despite that, it still ran for around 10 hours, through the entire period of darkness on the first night. The next night it lasted around 6 hours, last night maybe 4 hours. Hopefully we get some sustained sunshine soon to evaluate the charging and longevity cycle properly.
