The quality of this auger & upper traction cable for Ariens snowblowers is comparable in appearance and part number as the Ariens cable. It will be used for the snowblower traction function.I didn't know if this cable would work on my Ariens Model 926038-Pro-28 Sno - Thro which was not stated in the list of compatible model numbers. So originally I didn't purchase it.So my cable broke and I bought the Ariens cable for almost double the price. Low and behold the Ariens cable part number 06900502 is the same as this one. Knowing this after the fact, I purchased it as a backup. I'm removing 1 star for sharp burrs on the loop end of the cable which I will have to file off.
